SR 26/US 80 Corridor Study

The City of Pooler, in cooperation with the Coastal Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (CORE MPO), is undertaking the SR 26/US 80 Corridor study (PI No. 0018344) to identify and prioritize short term (0-5 years) and long term (5+ years) improvement projects needed for the SR 26/US 80 corridor to operate at an acceptable level of service.

The study will result in a prioritized list of recommendations to facilitate the planning and programming of projects through the CORE MPO’s Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) process. The study will also help justify the future programming of projects in the CORE MPO’s Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and Mobility 2045 Plan.

This study kicked off in June 2022 and was completed in September 2023.
