Fall 2006 Georgia MPO Conference

The CUTS/MPO staff hosted the Fall 2006 Georgia MPO Conference in Savannah December 4-5. Transportation Planning staffs from Georgia’s urbanized areas (MPOs), GDOT, FHWA, SRTA and consultants convened at the Westin Savannah Harbor for two days of information sharing and fellowship.

Many thanks to our keynote speakers from the Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) and Chatham Area Transit (CAT) as well as our presenters from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the State Road and Toll Authority (SRTA), Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC).

Special thanks also to the Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) and Hunter Army Airfield for providing outstanding pre and post-conference technical tours.
